Hello!

Welcome to my blog! My name is Kelsey Byus. I was born and raised in Spokane, WA on twenty acres with two dogs, three cats, and occasionally a rabbit and a chicken or two. During the school year however, I reside in the tiny college town of Pullman, WA where I attend school at Washington State University. I am entering my junior year of college where I am majoring in Marketing and minoring in Communications.

Since I was a little girl I have been very passionate about fashion. I’ve always dreamed of one day moving to New York City or Los Angeles and having a career within the fashion industry. My dream job after college would be to work for a fashion based public relations company or to work within a marketing department for a corporation like Nordstrom or URBN Home Office.

I’m a pretty creative person; so even in my free time I like to express my creativity by making mood boards out of magazine scraps, get style inspiration from some of my favorite bloggers, and stroll through hole in the wall coffee shops and vintage stores. I also enjoy spending hot summer days at my lake cabin on Priest Lake in northern Idaho with friends and family out on the boat. I love being outside as much as I can whether it be going on a hike or paddle boarding around the lake.

I’m super excited to have the opportunity to start a blog! It’s something I’be always wanted to do but never have actually acted on it. I’ll be using this platform to post media content that I create throughout the semester for COM210 at WSU.
